You can't change a man but you can change his mind

I love it when man take care of themselves. Appearance-wise.

I really don't mind if a man have 10 kind of shampoos and conditoners for his hair or he would wash his face and moisterizes it before he goes to bed. Or even put a minty lotion on his feet and make me smell it. Bottom line is I love mens that loves to groom. Yes I do. Because I have a thing with cleanliness and clean "nice to see" man. And I put atleast 3 types of moisterizers before I go to bed and if the man does that too I kind of have a friend there.

And NO! I don't think men that groom is gay. It's not even close to gay. And it definitely doesn't change the fact that he isn't a MAN. It's just shows that how a man also can be clean. It also shows that he's liveable with. On the plus side, he can look younger when he's clean (that's my theory).

Fairuz said I have a bit of Monica syndrome. I don't blame him when I literally put a hand sanitiser on the DVD shelves just to make sure everybody hands is clean when they play with the white wii. In my defence, Wii is white, and white is easily dirtied, and I LOVE white, and if that what white is, then hand sanitiser it is.

So last saturday when we were at the Malaysian hall having our lunch, Fairuz made a face which triggered something in my head.

Look at that face. How can I not told him I wanted to do a facial for him. Well actually, it's me who wanted a facial. But since Fairuz doesn't have the talent to do it on me. I choose to do him instead.

After about 30 minutes of argument and I finally convinced him that washing face isn't a gay thing. He goes my way. Or atleast I made him go my way. Just today ok honey.

After a few hours he turns out all shiny and clean. Most of all he goes to sleep immediately after and completely smiling. I swear he snores until the next morning. Sheesh. I think he totally enjoys it.

One of these days I'm definitely asking him to give me a body massage. :)

So girls, why not give your husband a pampering day like the way we like ourselves to be pampered. Just a simple basic facial with scrubs and face mask will do. Who knows. He might one day understands our needs of pampering and even surprise us with a day in the spa. That'll be awesome.

if all men are to follow women's rules, it is time for the D-day..plus some more they will not be recognized by the Prophet in the hereafter, since they are all 'dayus'. want your hubby to fall into that category? be my guest..as for me your cleanliness thing is nothing if compared to the superiority of husband being a family's head. think bout that darling.

I don't usually replied or talk like this. But this comment totally made my day. In the worst meaning. So here's my reply:

I'm sorry that if this what you think it is. But don't be daft.

I believe my cleanliness has nothing to do with my husband as the head of the family nor does it effect it. And I also believe you don't have the right to judge our family the way you did. My post is solely on mens grooming and mens grooming only. Even our religion prioritized cleanliness. However way we do it. And It's not like I'm making my husband (god forbid) - a crossdresser.

And 'dayus'? Geez. look who's talking. you don't even have the guts to be non-anonymous.

Sorry but you have to stop being judgmental and don't call me darling just because you couldn't come up with a nicer way to 'tegur' somebody.

oh my, dayus is not the suitable term for this context, anon. i personally love my husband to be clean shaven too. in fact, he cleanses, tones & moisturize just like i do. there's nothing wrong for taking our partner's appearance into our care. i believe its one of our responsibilities as wives. :)

Lea: That's a very good one lea. Exactly what I have in mind. :)

seek knowledge on the term "dayus" before using it cause dayus is only to be used when mungkar involves.
cleaning the husband face is just another act of "memupuk kasih sayang".It's nothing to do with being dayus.

agaknye free tak pernah mandi sama2 ngan isteri kot.. tolong sabun2, tolong shampoo2... tolong cuci2 apa2 yg patut.. pendek kata, buat 'pembersihan' bersama2 la.. ishhh.. takkan nak kata dayus lagi kot? yelah pakai shampoo, pakai sabun kan.. kot nak kata yang pakai mende2 tu semua perempuan je yg pakai, lelaki tak pakai?? ke macam mane??

eh ke free tak faham I tulis kot melayu nie? heheheheh ;)

btw, nice one hana.. I takde sampai nak buat facial kat husband sendiri sbb I pon malas nak buat utk diri sendiri.. ahhahaha.. tp at least I dah berjaya pujuk guna pencuci muka dan moisterizer.. yelah dah dia bersih dan wangi, kita jugak yg suka sbb kita jugak yg nak cium dia kan???? ;) heheheheh

Hi DaaDaa,

What do you mean? Posting a ticket to UK from where? If it's from Malaysia and if it's really important and urgent, then go for nationwide of DHL or local courier service is fine..If you're from any other country I'm not sure..i think the local post is just fine.

Kak Pedo, nk tny ni... awk pakai camera ape? semua nmpk cantik je pic..huhu..currently we're looking for dslr..tp tkt tersalah beli sbb xpro bab2 camera ni ;p

Ayureq,

I'm using d80. it's an old one from nikon but a new one compare to d70. It's going to take a while to learn all the functions on dslr if you're totally new on it. If you're going to use it for leisure and personal use I suggest to buy a compact one. A really good compact one. It's lighter and easier to carry. Then again that's me. :) u might love slr alot after learning it. :)

'dayus' is so out of the question here. she's just merely being lovey dovey with her husband. don't be so rigid. even our Prophet bath together with his wife. doesn't affect his superiority.
