Hampton Court Palace

So as I promise on a post of our trip the Hampton court :)

It was Saturday and it was the day Fairuz had his flying lesson experience. Well, it was actually his birthday present from me that he got to drive an airplane. The lesson didn't took that long. It was about an hour and it finished at 4pm. But Fairuz thought he wasn't a pilot material and end up feeling nauseated after the ride. What a sissy.

And Since it's summer and it won't be dusk until 9pm we decided it would be nice to stop by Hampton court Palace. It was a lovely weather that day.

Hampton Court Palace is one of the most breathtaking of all the london palaces - the fantastic riverside location, awe-inspiring gardens and incredible works of art make this a must see attraction for any London visitors interested in experiencing the sheer grandeur of the British monarchy at its most powerful. In summer the palace is lively at its most. There's all sort of events like the flower festival, fireworks, the re-living of Jane Seymour life and etc. 

I'm not going to talk about the history within but I am going to tell you things to do and see at the Hampton Court. We'll start at no 1

No 1. Visit Henry VIII's great hall. - The room is spanned by a sumptuously decorated hammer-beam roof and its walls are hung with the most splendid tapestries. And I think it sort of tells us a story on it.

There wasn't a lot of indoor pictures because as you can see above clearly my husband is not a very good photographer.

No 2. Visit the young Henry VII exhibition. In it you'll discover his young life, Katherine of Aragon, his wife of 24 years and Thomas Wolsey, his trusted ally. And the stereotypes that have overshadowed the true character of them.

No 3. And lastly, my personal favourite, visit the beautiful Garden and the most famous maze. But don't get lost!

Of course there's a lot other things you can visit and explore. The castle is huge and it'll take you the whole day to visit each and every room in it. Like the kitchen and toilet. I have to say, the most interesting part is how their toilet operated in year 1603. They don't have pump like us.

Clearly anybody can tell that I was extremely excited that day. If you want to be this excited, come and visit. I promise you won't be disappointed with Hampton Court.
