Zleqha - A Muslim Fashion

The Muslim fashion phenomena has bloomed for the past few years since the intensive used of internet by muslim fashion enthusiasm. Women that live even across the globe from each other managed to exchange ideas and share their creativities between them. What so unique about muslim fashion is not only it's a challenged in designing cutting edge and practical pieces but making it elegant and fashionable while still preserving the modesty of its apperances.

While controversies about the hijab, burkas and etc continued to spread across the western european country where large community of muslims live, born and breed, muslim fashion designers continues to grow inadvertently like mushrooms around the world.

Although my stay in Kuantan is quite short, I managed to followed my mom today to a local boutique zLeqha, who fashion designer (Fazlin) is a friend of the family. Fazlin or Kak Lin as I call her is an architect by profession. A graduate from Oxford brookes who works in her family business architect firm but impressively at the same time she managed to find time to pursue her passion of a fashion designer. Surely those like us can learn a thing or two from this amazing mom of 4, an architect, a wife and a fashion designer. If anyone is to be admired it's her.

What's more envious is that she live in an utterly beautiful house here in Tok sira designed by her husband, abg Bad and herself.

Zleqha design is simple yet elegant and modest. With its earth mix of colours and design that's attractive yet competitive prices, its approach to fashion has made Zleqha a popular hunt for style concious overseas shopper especially from the UK and Australia.

Most of their pieces (but not limited to) covers skirts, abaya like pieces and maxis. They also have extraordinary pieces that sits perfectly on celebrities with glittering beads for those that love glamorous pieces.

And you should see their long batwing dress in brown colour. It's beautiful it fits for any occasion.

By the end of the day, since they're having 50% off discount on skirts, I did what any lady with a right mind would do, I bought a piece from zleqha!

You can browse and buy their amazing pieces at their website zleqha or simply like their facebook page for their news and update on their final 2010 collection. For those in Kuantan can just visit their shop. Just have to check their address la.

P/S: I am not doing any advertorial nor any favour, this is simply something I would like to share with my fellow sisters.

I remember back in those days when I first started donning the hijab..whenever
I could find a decent piece with sleeves from the mall I'd be jumping up and down!!

So, mashaAllah it's amazing to see how much things have changed
throughout the years. We Muslims now are more or less spoilt with choices! =)
